Towards a recommender system for higher education counseling. Our research focuses on building an online platform for orienting students at high schools (E-advising system) based on the Semantic Web and Linked Data technologies. The system job is to integrate all heterogeneous data and distributed information into a single coherent source. Students who are unsure about which major is the best choice for them financially, professionally and personally can use this system to query needed information based on their criteria. They can submit their average grades (scientific average grades, literature average grades, activities average grades, etc.), preferred courses (biology, math, physics, geography, etc.), interests, province, budget, etc. The system will analyzes submitted data and then returns appropriate information and training programs.
