On October 27th 2025, the eleven organisations, including the CNRS, that won the European Equality Prize signed a declaration of principle in support of gender equality in research, an initiative launched by France's leading research organisation which now incorporates gender equality into all its international collaboration projects. https://www.cnrs.fr/en/update/cnrs-defends-gender-equality-world-science

We are delighted to announce the nomination of Sonia Ben Mokhtar, CNRS Research Director hosted at INSA Lyon, as a Knight of the French National Order of Merit. This distinction, awarded in the presence of Antoine Petit, CEO of CNRS, recognizes her outstanding scientific career, her strong commitment to collective endeavors within the LIRIS laboratory and the PEPR Cybersecurity program, as well as her remarkable contribution to the international visibility of French research.

LIRIS welcomed its new PhD students on October 23, 2025, at the Bassi amphitheater on the Doua campus. The day continued with the 2025 edition of the "My Thesis in 180 Seconds" competition, during which second-year PhD students presented their research in just three minutes. Congratulations to Syrine Salouhou, Mouna El Garb, and Elouan Vincent, winners of this edition, and thanks to all participants for their enthusiasm and commitment.
