Dear new PhD students of LIRIS (Year D1), The Welcome session for the new PhD students at LIRIS will take place on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on the Doua campus. This reception will take place in the Bassi amphi (https://www.insa-lyon.fr/fr/map/campus). The coffee break will also be held in the lobby of the Bassi amphi. It will be followed by MT180 in the afternoon from 1:30 p.m. (with the D2, same place). All students at the beginning of their second year (D2) who missed the welcome session in October 2024 are also expected to attend. This message also concerns permanent staff supervising PhD starting this autumn. I kindly ask you to make sure the information is passed on to your PhD students.
