Summary:
The objectives of the Phd position are as follows:
• Develop efficient methods based on machine learning to identify actors of the system (defined as clusters of
addresses), and the nature of these actors and their transactions (e.g., money transfert between individuals,
purchase, gambling, trading, etc.)
• Develop network analysis tools adapted to the large dynamic network of Bitcoin transactions
• Answer fundamental questions on the nature of crypto-currencies, working in collaboration with socio-economists,
by observing how they are actually used
