Summary:
The aim of the thesis is to propose a Semantic Web Services oriented solution for the Generation of Natural Disaster Alerts. Challenges identified:
1. The collection and integration of multi-source and heterogeneous, static and dynamic data taking into account their volume, velocity and degree of confidence. This axis requires dynamic management of said sources to deploy complex RESTFULL services of high level to generate alerts.
In other words, it involves: (i) developing semantic descriptions of data source access services for data aggregation; (ii) propose a dynamic code loading approach for interacting with all data sources described according to the defined meta-model and; (iii) deploying a service dynamic to provide homogenized access to these data sources.
2. The aggregation of dynamic knowledge, certain or uncertain, of the observed phenomena based on data sources to generate predictions and recommendations.
