Summary:

The goal of my thesis is to explore the usage possibilities of social robots in a collaborative learning context. Indeed, these robots present social characteristics that could be useful to propose new ways of learning or interacting with the pedagogical material. However, the use of these robots in the classroom is limited by several barriers such as the technic limitations of social robots, the lack of existing pedagogical contentand eventual acceptance problems. My work is focused on the identification of relevant collaborative situations to use social robots in as well as the added value of these devices in these contexts.
