The LIRIS laboratory, through the University of Lyon, became an Associate Partner of the Network of Excellence (NoE) Game and Learning Alliance (GaLA) (www.galanoe.eu), dedicated to Serious Games. This association reflects the recognition of the scientific contributions of the Silex team by the Serious Games Community. This will definitely open up new opportunities for international collaborations with GaLA Partners, which have actively supported our application to join the GaLA Network of Excellence.

 The consortium covers a wide range of topical knowledge on research and development in Serious Games. It is a highly multidisciplinary consortium of 30 partners coming from 13 countries all over EU. It comprises universities, research centers, SMEs and large Enterprises, representing a mix of the interests and skills involved in the SG development and deployment chain, allowing an effective synergy between research, education and business.
