Procedural generation of graphical content

Summary:
The lack of variety in terrains and natural objects (such as grass, trees, rocks) decrease the overall realism of computer generated landscapes. Thus, there is a need in the video game industry for methods that automatically generate high quality graphical content to quickly stuff vast, complex and original scenic landscapes. This is the goal of this thesis, which will also focus on new authoring tools for designers that should help them control and interactively edit the generated content.
