Summary:

The exponential growth in the usage of the Internet as well as the emergence of new types of applications have increased the network’s constraints in terms of security. For the last several years, biometric techniques have proven their applicability and reliability in providing secure access to shared resources in different domains. Furthermore, software agents and multi-agent systems (MAS) have evidently been efficient in resolving complex problems in network security. Therefore, the aim of our research is to propose a new user authentication model that is based on a cryptography method that utilizes the iris scan biometric technique in an agent system architecture.
