Summary:

The Smart City is an important field for ubiquitous computing, ambient intelligence and new styles of user interfaces, mainly mobile. Data vitalization related to in-city data collection, contextual access to them and their services is one of the key issues. The thesis explores an approach which allows rapide solution design and implementation to location-based applications for Smart City. This approach is based on modeling and simulation as well as contributions from critical studies on Location-Based Services, Internet of Things and Human-Machine Interaction. A first case study situation will be in the domain of transport: dynamic management of road lanes.
