This thesis aims to enhance document images quality within the digitization process of written documents.
The SPIGRAPH company and the LIRIS intend to develop generic and automatic methods allowing the quality control at the moment of shooting, images enhancement in preparation for applications and anticipated pre-indexation.
An important innovation consists in taking in account the entire and global document in order to develop the previous methods; i.e. the objective is to consider the document as unique entity unlike other researches where the document pages are processed independently.
