Summary:
The collaborations between hospital partners implied in monitoring the risk of Legionnella or the investigation of cases are multiple. The sharing of information is essential for assessing the risk. The mainly partners concerned are clinical and technical unit, the department of Microbiology, the department of epidemiology and health. Each partner holds a portion of the information necessary to evaluate the risk, thus they must collaborate to procure all of the necessary information distributed in the units.
Our goal is to design a collaborative platform between various partners. This platform will enable us to detect early, monitor and share information about these diseases. Each professional involve in the disease care, follow-up or detection will be able immediately to benefit from the work achieved by others in a real time and have a decision-making that is much more efficient. This platform has two major parts:
The design of collaborative models
The adaptation of these models according to the used platform and the user profiles.
We suggest multi-agents, based on shared knowledge. During the development process, each partner can reach information of shared knowledge and make requests. This architecture enables real-time collaboration. Each partner can access the system from interfaces tailored to each user (doctor, technician, etc.). These interfaces take into account the diversity of the platforms to access to system (mobile phone, PDA, computer).
