The LUDOCARE start-up from Lyon, in collaboration with Stéphanie Jean-Daubias from the LIRIS-TWEAK team, created and develops JOE, a connected companion robot. JOE guides children in taking their daily medical treatment and congratulates them with various playful gifts including looking at episodes from the CNRS Zeste de Science series. The collaboration between LUDOCARE and TWEAK is about designing an authoring tool which produces personalizable rewards.
