ISIP 2016

Atelier ISIP 2016

The eleventh edition of the International Workshop on Information Search, Integration, and Personalization (ISIP 2016) took place in Lyon, France, from 3 to 4 November 2016.

ISIP started as a series of Franco-Japanese workshops in 2003, and its first edition was placed under the auspices of the French embassy in Tokyo, which provided the financial support along with JSPS. In 2012, ISIP became international and welcomes participants from all over the world since then. The workshop series has now reached a mature state with an increasing number of researchers participating every year. A number of selected papers are published in the Springer series "Communications in Computer and Information Science" (CCIS), following a post workshop reviewing process.

ISIP 2016 had a record participation of almost 80 participants. 31 papers were presented to the workshop and two renowned international speakers gave a keynote:

  • Paolo Papotti (Arizona State University, USA), Detecting Data Errors: Where are we and what needs to be done?
  • Jun Adachi (National Institute of Informatics, Japan), Social CPS: Its Concept and Practical Experience Acquired in the Demonstrative Experiments
