The initial project consist in a text transcription of Eighteenth Century printed documents to help the Humanists works. We are going to use the works already made in the DEBORA project on the sixteenth century documents. Those works lead us to a transcription of the text. The first step will be the construction of a base of optical recognition of signs (characters, symbols...) with the help of Humanists. We also plan to use digitized dictionaries of the Eighteen century to help transcription. This help should permit a verification of the recognized characters and a better analysis of damaged characters. By the combination with a specific dictionary we project recognition of words such as personages and locations names important for the analysis of the gazettes by Humanists.
