DEXA 2017

Conference internationale DEXA 2017

The LIRIS laboratory has organized the 28th edition of the conference DEXA 2017 (Database and Expert Systems Applications) which took place from August 28th to 31st, 2017 at IAE Lyon, Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3. DEXA is a well-established conference in the Database, Knowledge Base, and Services communities.

Several conferences and workshops have been organized jointly with DEXA namely:

  • BDMICS 2017 – The 2nd International Workshop on Big Data Management in Cloud Systems,
  • BIOKDD 2017 - 8 The International Workshop on Biological Knowledge Discovery from Data,
  • TIR 2017: The 14th International Workshop on Information Retrieval Technologies,
  • and UCC 2017 – The 1st International Workshop on Uncertainty in Cloud Computing.

DEXA 2017 welcomed more than 200 participants from 41 countries: 21 European countries and 19 non-European countries. The main DEXA conference received 166 aricle submissions from which 37 (22%) were accepted as long articles and 37 others as short articles (22%).

  • Nora Cuppens, Telecom Bretagne, France. "Detecting Privacy Violations in Android-Like Systems".

DEXA 2017 conference has been supported by several institutions: Lyon 1 and Lyon 3 Universities, INSA Lyon, Laboratoires LIRIS and ERIC, CNRS, Federation Informatique Lyonnaise, Labex AMIES, and FAW University in Austria.
