Visit of female students to the LIRIS for the "Science, a career for Women" day
As part of the ‘Science: A Career for Women’ day, we welcomed 20 female students from the Ferney Voltaire International School to LIRIS.
Syrine Salouhou, a PhD student in SICAL team, and Tetiana Yemelianenko, a postdoctoral researcher in Imagine team, explained their research to them.
Syrine talked about her research on the video game SeaHeroQuest for diagnosing Alzheimer’s disease, and Tetiana spoke about her project on artificial intelligence to assist art historians in their research. The youg women had the opportunity to talk with them and ask plenty of questions about their careers, their backgrounds and their research. It was a wonderful afternoon of interaction. We would like to thank Syrine and Tetiana for joining us!
