Since June 2017, Atilla Baskurt, Professor at INSA Lyon and a LIRIS member, has been designated Scientific Adviser for steering the Information Science and Technology research domain of Hceres (The High Council for Evaluation of Research and Higher Education)
Atilla Baskurt is in charge of the evaluation of all the French research units of the Information Science and Technology research domain: computer science, signal, image, automatic, robotics, production engineering and electronics. About 90 STIC research units are involved in this evaluation of the research quality.
