Blend Web Mix 2016

Conférence Blend Web Mix 2016

LIRIS participated in the organization of the yearly Blend Web Mix conference that took place in Lyon, on November 2 & 3, 2016. This conference brings together researchers, as well as engineers and actors from industry and economy to present and discuss their work about a common theme: the Web.

This conference was born after the success of the World Wide Web conference that took place in Lyon in 2012, and aims at sustaining the dynamics of the Web community in the Lyon area. Université de Lyon is one of the co-organizers of Blend Web Mix, along with La Cuisine du Web and Clust’R Numérique. This dynamics probably helped UdL to obtain the return of the WWW conference in 2018. During Blend Web Mix, two LIRIS members (Lionel Médini and Pierre-Antoine Champin) were particularly involved in the organization of the Mixer Éducation-Recherche, during which a round table was organized about technology transfer of research results to the industry, in which David Coeurjolly, member of the LIRIS lab and director of the Fédération d’Informatique de Lyon, participated.
