The work accomplished during the CIFRE PhD thesis of Fabien Cellier, co-supervised by ATOS Worldline and the Geomod team of the LIRIS, were highlighted during the official launch of the Geoportail V3 of the IGN (Institut Géographique National) in October 2012. This work made possible the real-time interactive visualization of large terrain models within a web browser on thin clients.
