Natalia Neverova

PhD candidate at National Institut of Applied Science (INSA de Lyon), France
Update: I defended my PhD and I will be joining Facebook AI Research (FAIR) in 2016.

Office: INSA de Lyon, Bat. Jules Verne, room 107B
Email: natalia.neverova (at) insa-lyon.fr

I obtained my Engineering Degree in Optics and Electronics in 2008 and my Masters Erasmus Mundus in Color in Informatics and Media Technology (CIMET) in 2012, both with excellent distinction. Currently, I am a member of Imagine research team at LIRIS (UMR 5205 CNRS) and Machine Learning Research Group of University of Guelph, where my PhD advisors are Christian Wolf and Graham Taylor. In 2015, I spent several months as a visiting researcher at Google in Mountain View, USA.
Research interests: statistical machine learning and computer vision with emphasis on deep learning, action and gesture recognition, and motion analysis.
