I received in 2005 the Industrial Engineering degree from the INSA Lyon (National Institute of Applied Sciences) and the MS degree in Computer Science from the University of Lyon, in France. In 2008, I obtained the Phd degree in Computer Science from the INSA Lyon. This PhD thesis was achieved at the LIESP Laboratory and was supported by the French Research Ministry (MENRT grant). I was a teaching assistant at the INSA Lyon, first at the First Cycle Department (2005-2008) and then at the Computer Sciences and Engineering Department (2008-2009). Since September 2009, I am an Associate Professor in Computer Science at the Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3, IAE Lyon, and at the LIRIS Laboratory, SICAL team. I was a Visiting Professor at the McGill University (ATLAS Lab) from January to August 2016. I have defended my Habilitation in 2016. My research interests include several topics: Self-Regulated Learning Environments, Learner Engagement, Reflexive Visualization and Adaptive Gamification, in the fields of Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL), Computer Supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL) and Human-Computer Interaction (HCI).

Our paper entitled "EMODA: a Tutor Oriented Multimodal and Contextual Emotional Dashboard" has been accepted as a full paper at the LAK 2017 conference!
