Rhône Express

The tram service connects Rhônexpress Lyon Part-Dieu in Lyon to St Exupery Airport in less than 30 minutes guaranteed. It provides this transportation service 365 days a year!

  • Departure every quarter hour from 6am to 9pm
  • Departures every half hour from 5am to 6am and from 9pm to midnight
  • Final departure from the airport to the city is at 0h40
  • Return after 0h40 when flight is delayed, if it was to land before midnight.

City Bus

The TCL network facilitates your sightseeing throughout Greater Lyon. The TCL network comprises 4 metro lines, 5 tramway lines, 2 funicular lines and over 130 bus lines. Use the metros, funiculars, trams and buses to get from one point to another in the city in the minimum amount of time to discover the maximum number of attractions. The means of transport of the TCL network are complementary. A single ticket enables you to go from metro to bus, tram or funicular as many times as you like during one hour. However, you can’t do a return journey on the same ticket.

Taxi

You can queue for taxis outside the airport arrivals exit. A 20-minute journey to the Cité Internationale conference center (and hotels nearby) costs about 50€ to 60€.

Passport and Visa

A valid passport is required for entry into France. A visa may be required for some countries. For information about visa and passports contact your local French Embassy at least 3 months prior to your departure to join us in Lyon. Letters of invitation required to meet the administrative and legal regulations for participants from certain countries will be available upon request.
